About the writer

Welcome to The Raabe Review where you will find political news with an emphasis on Minnesota politics, as well as publishing news and book reviews. Decades of reading, writing, raising amazing children and working in the “real world” have led me to focus on two things that can and should make a difference: political awareness and the literary experience. Political news discussed here is based on research, interviews and firsthand experience. In compliance with the 2009 FTC ruling regarding endorsements and testimonials, books reviewed here have been purchased by the reader unless otherwise noted.

After attending North Park College and Theological Seminary, I spent the bulk of my career in the legal and banking industries. I’ve also helped run a successful family business, been elected to sit on my local school board, led and participated in community groups including the Fine Arts Committee and Community Education Board, and worked at a small publishing company. My writing has been featured at Gather.comINDenverTimesDoubleday and in Krista Tippett’s paperback release of Speaking of Faith. Professional memberships include the Loft Literary Center and the National Book Critics Circle. I am currently working on various editing, ghost writing and copywriting projects through custom content providers (i.e., Writer Access, Textbroker, etc.) and for those who contact me directly. Feel free to contact me at [dianaraabe at gmail dot com].
